Her experience in teaching, marketing, and managing dental offices have helped her, and her husband Dr. Rob Thorup, create “The Clinical Business of Dentistry” training courses. Tracy teaches dental teams how to offer the best quality of care to their patients, while also using state laws and dental insurance contracts to get paid fairly for the services they provide. Her passion to help Utah dental offices set in motion the efforts that resulted in Utah’s House Bill 359, which was signed into law in 2021.
Tracy is currently enrolled in the MBA Program at Brigham Young University and is actively working on new legislation in Utah and surrounding states. She works closely with the ADA coding department, Utah State Insurance Commission, and dental offices throughout the nation to help them finally reclaim the “forgotten profitability” in dentistry again.
